Yay lamang plano…
There
were times when a mother nags in the house for those youngsters who are
constantly lying around the bed and lounge on chairs for hours without being productive.
These episodes are actually development stages of the teens to take up
responsibilities which can be useful In the future.
Psychology
Today mentions that in humans, the drive for productivity tends to be motivated
by a set of overlapping natural desires. These include a desire to contribute
to a group, a desire to be challenged and mentally stimulated, and a desire to fulfil
basic needs such as food, shelter, and safety.
An
individual's productivity hinges on mental energy and a sense of internal and
external motivation. It often emerges naturally from work that they find
inherently meaningful or valuable.
Unfortunately,
there are countless ways for productivity to be derailed. For example, it takes
time for the brain to disengage from one set of tasks and to commit to another,
so switching between many tasks at once will slow overall productivity.
Once
the individual’s motivation is weak, chances are the person switches from one
activity to the other leaving the first task to be unfinished. These situations
are sometimes stemming up from envy – the person is motivated to perform another
task since others are doing it or having a trendy output.
Decades
of research suggest that some people are better able to execute and be
productive than others and that personality, motivation, and emotions all play
a key role in how well someone is able to get things done.
People
may exhibit laziness and struggle to complete tasks for a variety of reasons.
Often, underlying psychological factors such as fear of failure, lack of
motivation, or low self-esteem can play a significant role.
Additionally,
environmental factors like a lack of clear goals, poor time management skills,
or a distracting environment can hinder productivity. In some cases,
individuals might be dealing with mental health issues such as depression or
anxiety, which can drain their energy and focus.
Ultimately,
this discussion circles back to self-awareness and self-assessment. When
individuals become self-aware, they can uncover the root causes of their
laziness and low productivity. This understanding paves the way for devising
effective strategies to move forward.
